Introduction for LLDPE SABIC 219NJ
2024-09-19
SABIC LLDPE 219NJ is a butene linear low density polyethylene resin produced using solution technology and is typically used in general purpose applications. Films produced from this resin have very good toughness, puncture resistance, high tensile strength and good heat seal properties. The resin does not contain slip or anti-slip agents. SABIC® LLDPE 219NJ does not contain tris(nonylphenyl) phosphate (TNPP). This product is not intended for and must not be used in any pharmaceutical/medical applications.
Origin: Saudi Arabia
Opening agent: No
MFR (melt index): 2.0g/min
Density: 0.918g/cm³
Container weight: 24.75 tons/cabinet
Applications: transport bags, ice bags, frozen food bags, stretch wrapping films, agricultural product bags, liners, shopping bags, garbage bags, agricultural films, laminated and co-extruded films for meat packaging, frozen food and other food packaging, shrink films (mixed with LDPE), industrial consumer product packaging, and mixed with (10~20%) LDPE for high-definition film applications.
219NJ is another MI2.0 non-opening linear fiber of SABIC. The difference between it and 218BJ is that it has lower haze, which means better transparency, higher gloss, and smoother film. Therefore, it is often mixed with LD to make high-definition film. In addition, it is often used to make stretch film and wrapping film like other non-opening linear fibers. In terms of price, the price difference between 219NJ and other linear non-opening materials is not large, but its incoming volume is small, and its supply is not as stable as 218BJ.
