Thermoplastic Copolyester (TPC or TPEE)
is a material that combines the elasticity of rubber with the processability of thermoplastics, and belongs to a subcategory of the TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) family. It is a block copolymer consisting of a hard segment (polybutylene terephthalate PBT) + a soft segment (polyether or polyester diol).
- Hard segment provides mechanical strength, heat resistance
- The soft segment provides flexibility, elasticity, and low temperature resistance.
