Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU)

is a high performance material with both the elasticity of rubber and the processing performance of plastic, belonging to one kind of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which is widely used in the fields of footwear, electronics, automotive, and medical care. A linear thermoplastic polyurethane made of diisocyanate (e.g. MDI, TDI) + polyol (e.g. polyester or polyether) + chain extender, and is structured as a block copolymer with hard and soft segments.
