Application
Vectra E130i is an injection molding liquid crystal polymer thermoplastic produced by Celanese, contains 30% glass fiber to enhance the rigidity and heat resistance of the product. The melting temperature reaches 335°C. With excellent thermal, electrical and dimensional stability properties, E130i LCP has a wide range of applications in the field of surface mount technology (SMT).
Celanese Vectra E130i LCP pellet Advantage
- Glass fiber reinforced resin material. Vectra E130i contains 30% glass fiber, which makes it have higher strength, high temperature resistance and dimensional stability compared with conventional liquid crystal polymer materials.
- High temperature resistant liquid crystal polymer material. Compared with conventional LCP, Vectra has a higher melting temperature of 335°C. Under the 1.8MPa test environment, the heat deformation temperature reaches 276°C. It can maintain excellent performance even when used for a long time in an application environment exceeding 200°C. The high deformation temperature enables it to be used in ultra-high temperature lead-free reflow soldering (260°C) in the manufacture of precision parts, thus extending the service life of the product
- High rigidity plastic material. Compared with conventional numerical materials, Vectra E130i LCP pellets have a tensile modulus of 15,000 MPa, a flexural modulus of 13,500 MPa, and a compression modulus of 14,000 MPa. Excellent rigidity can prevent the micro-structure components from deformation and improve the plug-in life
- Stable size, suitable for the production of high-precision parts. Vectra E130i LCP has a flow shrinkage of only 0.1% under ISO 294 test standard, a vertical shrinkage of only 0.4%, and a water absorption of only 0.03% under 23℃ 50RH test environment. Its excellent dimensional stability makes it very suitable for the field of special engineering plastics.
