 DOW ENGAGE 8440 POE Description 

ENGAGE 8440 is a high-performance polyolefin elastomer (POE) produced by The Dow Chemical Company. It offers excellent resilience and, compared to standard POE materials, features higher stiffness and superior temperature resistance. It is commonly used for toughening automotive components, modifying polypropylene (PP), and in industrial casters, seals, and tool handles.

DOW ENGAGE 8440 POE's higher molecular weight provides greater rigidity and superior load-bearing capacity, making it suitable for applications that require high strength, such as automotive bumpers, dashboards, casters, and tool handles.
  • Superior heat resistance, DOW ENGAGE 8440 POE material has a Vicat softening temperature of 75°C, offering better heat resistance than conventional POE and making it suitable for use in the manufacturing of industrial and mechanical components.
