INEOS Luran S 778T ASA Description

Luran® S 778T is acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate resin produced by INEOS Styrolution Group GmbH, also known as"ASA material." This reinforced ABS material offers excellent high temperature resistance, weather resistance and UV resistance. Luran S 778T ASA material is commonly used in products requiring long-term outdoor use, such as automotive radiator grilles, automotive mirror housings and home appliances.

INEOS Luran S 778T ASA Advantage

Excellent weather resistance, Compared to traditional ABS materials, INEOS Luran S 778T ASA offers enhanced weather resistance. It incorporates light stabilizers and UV stabilizers, enabling products manufactured from it to maintain excellent mechanical properties and appearance after prolonged outdoor use and exposure to sunlight. This material is suitable for producing automotive rearview mirrors, radiator grilles, and other applications requiring long-term outdoor exposure.
Good thermal stability: INEOS Luran S 788T ASA material incorporates thermal stabilizers, delivering superior high-temperature resistance. After annealing under 0.45 MPa testing conditions, its heat deflection temperature reaches 106°C, and even under 1.8 MPa testing conditions, it achieves 103°C. This makes it highly suitable for automotive components and appliance housing parts requiring efficient heat dissipation.
