LG Chem Lucene LC168 POE Description

Lucene LC 168 is general purpose grade POE material manufactured by LG Chem, Inc., with high elasticity and melt flow index (MFI) of 1.2, which can be used in the production of automotive interior and exterior trim, cables, shoe soles, and other polymers for use as a toughening agent

The LG LC168 POE material we supply comes from the LG Chem plant in South Korea.

The appearance of LG Lucene LC168 POE, as shown in the figure on the left, is that of a transparent, roughly ellipsoidal granule. It feels slightly damp to the touch and exhibits noticeable elasticity compared to HDPE, LDPE and other materials.

LG Chem Lucene LC 168 POE Advantage

Super Soft. LC168 polyolefin elastomer is produced through ethylene-butylene polymerization, also known as"EBR."Compared to the LC160 EOR POE in the same series, it is softer, with a hardness of only 46, and offers a superior tactile feel. It is particularly well-suited as a raw material for foam-molded insoles and shoe soles.
Excellent low-temperature resistance. The glass transition temperature of LG Lucene LC168 reaches-58°C, which is significantly lower than that of comparable products in LG’s POE series. When blended with polypropylene (PP), it reduces the risk of low-temperature brittle fracture in polypropylene materials. It is suitable for use as a modifier in the production of automotive bumpers, door panels and exterior trim parts, and is particularly well-suited for the manufacture of vehicles intended for use in cold climates.
