Sabic 218WJ is a premium linear low density polyethylene resin pellets (LLDPE material) designed for film and package bag applications with good extrusion, mechanical strength, and toughness properties. Mainly used to make garbage bags, shopping bags, co-extruded films, laminated films, etc.

⚠️Test results show that Sabic LLDPE 218WJ has a haze of 13% and a gloss of 80 at 60°, as shown in the figure on the left. It has moderate transparency and low gloss; films and plastic bags made from this material will have low transparency. If you require highly transparent plastic materials, please contact us.

As a specialised LLDPE material for producing films and packaging bags, Sabic 218WJ LLDPE achieves a tensile elongation at break of 700% in the flow direction, with a puncture resistance of 63 J/m and a falling weight impact strength of 85 g/μm. Food contact grade plastic. Sabic 218WJ - 009000 is specifically designed for food contact applications. It offers excellent safety performance and has been certified to meet the requirements for food contact plastics under EU Regulation 1935/2004, FDA 21 CFR 1750, and the regulations of Japan, Malaysia, Germany, Norway, the United Kingdom, China, and other countries, ensuring it is safe for use.
Excellent processability. Sabic 218WJ is an LLDPE material specifically designed for the production of films and packaging bags. It has a melt flow index of 2 g/10 min under test conditions of 190°C and 2.16 kg, making it suitable for the vast majority of blow molding film production equipment. It also contains slip and antiblock additives, which effectively improve production efficiency while enhancing the user experience.
