Mitsui Tafmer DF740 POE Description

Tafmer DF740 is high performance polyolefin elastomer/plastomer resin (POE material) produced by Mitsui Chemicals. It uses highly branched poly-α-olefin technology and has good transparency, low temperature resistance, flexibility and compatibility. DF740 PAO is used to improve the impact resistance and flexibility of PE/PP.

Tafmer DF740 elastomer is manufactured in both Japan and Singapore; we will give priority to supplying the product manufactured at the Singapore plant.
As shown in the image on the left, Tafmer DF740 elastomer consists of highly transparent, ellipsoidal pellets.

Mitsui Tafmer DF740 POE Advantage

Excellent flexibility and impact resistance. As an excellent plastic modified material, Tafmer DF740 PAO adopts poly-alpha-olefin technology. Compared with traditional POE materials, offers better performance when blended with PP/PE and can effectively improve the material's flexibility and tensile properties.
Low temperature impact resistance: Tafmer DF740 PAO material can still maintain excellent flexibility and mechanical properties in low temperature environment, which can effectively improve the low temperature resistance of the material.
Good transparency performance. The transmittance of Tafmer DF740 reaches 90%. It has high transparency. After blending with other polymers, can still maintain good transparency and almost does not change the material's transmittance. DF740 PAO is suitable for products with high requirements on appearance.
