LyondellBasell Moplen HP500N PP Description

Moplen HP500N is food grade polypropylene resin (PP material) produced by LyondellBasell. It has medium fluidity and medium rigidity, a melt index of 12g/10min, and is suitable for injection molding and general production applications.

LyondellBasell’s Moplen HP500N PP is produced at multiple sites. We prioritize supplying the product manufactured by CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals, whose plant operates under a technology license officially granted by LyondellBasell, and the technical specifications are virtually identical.

As shown in the figure on the left, LyondellBasell Moplen HP500N is transparent PP resin with an ellipsoidal, nucleated structure and high transparency; finished products made from it typically exhibit good clarity.

Moderate impact resistance. Lyondebasell Moplen HP500N PP has a simple beam notched impact of 4kJ/㎡ under the ISO 179 test standard at 23℃ 1eA test, making it suitable for general injection molding products such as furniture and household items.
Moplen HP500N PP material has good processing properties. The melt index is 12g/10min at 230℃ and 2.16kg test environment. It is suitable for injection molding and compounding processing methods and is suitable for conventional application scenarios.
