YUHW Polypro S802 PP Description

Polypro S802M is a homopolymer polypropylene polymer (PP material) produced by Yuhwa Korea Petrochemical Ind. Co., Ltd. It has the characteristics of ultra-high purity, high rigidity, impact resistance and high temperature resistance. In addition to being used in the production of automotive parts, office equipment parts and as a general-grade material, Yuhwa S802M can also be used in the production of dry-process lithium battery separators.

Ultra-high purity polypropylene material. As a polypropylene material used in the production of lithium battery separators, YUHWA Polypro S802M PPhas ultra-high purity and very low grayscale, which is particularly suitable for the production of high-demand electronic and energy equipment applications, avoiding low-content metal elements that are sensitive to battery performance and improving the safety performance of lithium batteries.
High temperature resistant. Compared with conventional polypropylene materials, YUHWA S802M PP has a melting point of 166~168℃. It can fully exert its original mechanical properties at room temperature and in automotive environments, can still maintain good mechanical properties even at harsh temperatures. Yuhwa S802M PP is very suitable for short term high temperature applications such as batteries and automotive parts.
More convenient processing method and low cost. Compared with the wet processing method that requires the addition of additives, the dry processing method adopted by YUHWA S802M PP can produce lithium-ion battery separators (LiBS) only through natural stretching. It not only has lower production requirements for equipment, but also has lower costs.
