 Covestro Bayblend FR3010 PC/ABS Description 

Bayblend FR3010 is Polycarbonate + Acrylic Butadiene Styrene blend material (PC + ABS resin) produced by Covestro AG. Its melt index is 15 cm³/10 min(240℃ 5kg), making it suitable for injection molding. It contains release agent, making it easy to process, also contains flame retardant, achieving UL94 V-0, 5VA, and 5VB ratings, offering high heat resistance.

Covestro Bayblend FR3010 PC/ABS Advantage

  • Flame retardant plastic. Bayblend FR 3010 PC ABS alloy contains flame retardants that achieve a UL 94 V-0 rating at a thickness of 1.5 mm and a 5VA rating at a thickness of 3.0 mm. It is suitable for use in the housings of small appliances, mechanical equipment, and automotive parts that require high-performance flame retardancy.
  • High heat resistance PC ABS alloy. Compared to conventional ABS materials, Bayblend FR 3010 offers superior heat resistance, with a heat deflection temperature of 100°C under test conditions of 0.45 MPa and a Vicat softening temperature of 108°C at 50 N and 50°C/h. It is suitable for high-temperature applications such as automotive air intake grilles, air conditioning vents, and automotive center console panels.
