 BASF Ultradur S 4090 G4 PBT+ASA+PET pellet Description 

Ultradur S 4090 G4 is a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate (ASA) blend polymer resin produced by BASF Corporation. Also known as PBT+ASA+PET material, it exhibits low warpage properties and contains 20% glass fiber reinforcement. This material is suitable for industrial components requiring high dimensional stability, such as plug-in connectors and enclosures.

  • GF20 PBT material, BASF S 4090 G4 PBT material contains 20% glass fiber reinforcement (GF20 PBT), providing it with higher heat resistance, greater dimensional stability, and improved rigidity compared to conventional PBT materials.
1.8MPa test environment achieves a heat deflection temperature of 160°C;
Shrinkage rate in flow direction is only 0.43%;
Tensile modulus is 6900MPa, flexural modulus is 6400MPa.
Suitable for producing sockets and connectors requiring high dimensional stability, heat resistance, and high strength.
  • ASA resin reinforced. Ultradur S 4090 G4 is a PBT-ASA blend material. By incorporating ASA resin, it enhances the PBT material's UV resistance, enabling products made from it to resist yellowing and performance degradation during prolonged outdoor use. It also effectively improves aesthetic properties by reducing fiber floating and excessive gloss.
