Celanese Hytrel 4056 TPEE Description
Hytrel 4056 is a thermoplastic polyester elastomer manufactured by Celanese Corporation, also known as “TPC-CT” or “TPEE.” It features a low modulus, high flexibility, and high resilience; it is commonly used in the production of cable protective sleeves, hoses, and tubing.

Celanese Hytrel 4056 thermoplastic polyester elastomer is manufactured at Celanese’s plant in the United States.

Celanese Hytrel 4056 TPEE Advantage
- Highly elastic plastic, Hytrel 4056 TPC-ET has a low modulus—with a tensile modulus of only 60 MPa and a hardness of just 40D—which gives the material excellent resilience, flexibility, and impact resistance. Testing has shown that even at extreme temperatures as low as -40°C, the material does not fracture in Charpy notched impact tests, whether with or without a notch.
