DOW chemical ELVAX 460 EVA pellet Description
ELVAX 460 is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA material) produced by Dow Chemical. It offers excellent flexibility, optical properties, and high-temperature resistance. It can be used alone in industrial applications such as adhesives and sealants, or blended with other polymers to enhance the flexibility, resilience, and impact resistance of raw materials.
DOW chemical ELVAX 460 EVA Advantage
- High temperature resistant EVA material, DOW 460 EVA material contains butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) antioxidant components, which enhance its high-temperature resistance. Compared to conventional EVA materials, DOW 460 maintains excellent mechanical properties even under high-temperature processing and application conditions.
- Good integration capability. EVA ELVAX 460 exhibits excellent compatibility with most polymers and can serve as a toughening agent in raw materials, enhancing their flexibility, tensile properties, and impact resistance.
- Food safety plastic. DOW elvax 460 EVA material complies with TSCA, EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS), EU Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE), EN 71-3, FDA 21 CFR 175.1350(a), and conforms to CONEG, EU 94/62/EC. The material is safe and non-toxic, suitable for manufacturing products intended for food contact applications.
