BASF-YPC Bycolene 158K GPPS pellets Description
Bycolene 158K is a transparent general purpose polystyrene resin pellet (GPPS material) produced by BASF-YPC, has high heat resistance, high strength and fast curing characteristics. Its melt index is 3g/10min (200℃ 5kg) and suitable for coating and injection molding processes, can be used in medical applications.
BASF-YPC Bycolene 158K GPPS pellets Advantage
- High temperature resistant polystyrene material. BASF 158K GPPS has a heat deflection temperature of 98°C and a Vicat softening temperature of 101°C under a test pressure of 0.45 MPa, slightly higher than conventional polystyrene. It can be used in applications requiring high-temperature resistance.
- Good processing performance. BYcolene 158K GPPS material has a melt index of 3g/10min under a 200℃ 5kg test environment. It has a low flow rate and is suitable for injection molding or coating molding. At the same time, this polystyrene material has the characteristics of rapid curing, which facilitates the manufacture of plastic products and speeds up the production cycle.
