Borlink LS4201S is extrusion molding cross-linked polyethylene polymer (XLPE material) produced by Borouge. It has excellent insulation, electrical and ignition properties and is used in the production of high voltage cables.

  • High-voltage cable compound. Borouge LS4201S is a cross-linked polyethylene material specifically designed for the production of high-voltage AC cables. It offers excellent electrical properties and resistance to scorching. Additionally, this material has been certified to meet the American Electrical Industry Standard AEIC CS9, the Institute of Cable Engineers of America Standard ICEA S-108-720, the International Electrotechnical Commission Standards (medium and high voltage) IEC 60840 and (extra-high voltage) IEC 62067, as well as the European Harmonized Standard HD 632 S1. With its excellent electrical safety performance, it is commonly used in the production of high-voltage and extra-high-voltage cables.
  • Excellent electrical performance. Borlink LS4201S XLPE material is specifically designed for high-voltage cables with a maximum operating pressure of 230 kV/mm and a rated operating voltage of up to 230 kV. The volume resistance of Borlink LS4201S XLPE under 23℃ test environment is only 1E+16Ω.cm, and the dissipation factor under 50Hz test environment is only 0.0003, which effectively reduces the loss of electric energy during transmission and improves the transmission efficiency of high-voltage lines.
  • Good aging resistance. Borouge LS4201S has excellent thermosetting and aging resistance tests. The tensile properties under 135℃ 168hr test change is only 20%. The high-voltage cables made of it are suitable for long-term use, extending the service life of the cables.
