 Covestro Bayblend T45PG PC/ABS pellet Description 

Bayblend T45PG an injection molded polycarbonate + ABS resin pellet (PC + ABS material) manufactured by Covestro AG, is an electroplating grade plastic material suitable for applications requiring electroplating, such as automotive handles, wheel covers, faucets, and showerheads. It exhibits excellent impact resistance and flexibility. With a melt index of 12 cm³/10 min (260°C, 6.5 kg), it offers moderate fluidity and can be used in conventional product production.

Covestro Bayblend T45PG PC/ABS pellet Advantage

  • Electroplating grade polycarbonate + ABS material. Bayblend T45PG is a resin material that can be used for electroplating and spraying. It can be used for faucets with high appearance properties, home appliance housings, shower heads, automotive interior and exterior decoration, and other application scenarios that require electroplating.
  • Good low temperature impact resistance. Covestro Bayblend PC/ABS has an Izod notch impact of 40kJ/㎡ under ISO 180 test standard and 23℃ test environment. Even at -30℃ extreme low temperature, it can still reach 36kJ/㎡. Its excellent low-temperature impact resistance makes it suitable for applications with high impact resistance requirements such as home appliance housings, motorcycle parts, and automobile wheel covers.
  • Good processing performance. Bayblend T45PG has a melt index of 12cm³/10min under a 260℃ 5kg test environment, making it suitable for conventional injection molding parts. It also contains a release agent to facilitate the casting of finished products.
