Borouge HE3466-RT PE-RT pipe grade HDPE Advantage

• Excellent heat resistance. As a high density polyethylene resin (HDPE material) specially used for manufacturing heat resistant pipes, Borstar HE3466-RT has better high temperature resistance. The oxidation induction time under the ISO 11357 test standard is 20 minutes. HE3466-RT HDPE has good resistance to thermal oxidative aging and can be used for conventional hot water pipe manufacturing.
• Good mechanical properties. As a material used in the manufacture of hot water pipes, Borstar HE3466-RT has good tensile and bending properties. Under the ISO 527 test standard, the tensile yield strength reaches 22MPa at 50mm/min, the tensile breaking strength reaches 30MPa, and the elongation at break can reach 800%. It has good advantages in the manufacture of flexible pipes and hot water pipes that need to be bent.
• Good processing performance. Borouge HE3466-RT HDPE material has a melt index of 0.8g/10min under a 190℃ 5kg test environment. It is suitable for extrusion molding. The hot water pipes made of it have a stable shape and are not easily deformed during the manufacturing and cooling process.

• Borouge HE3466-RT high-density polyethylene material has good flexibility, tensile properties, heat resistance and weldability, and can be used in the production of floor heating pipes

• Pipes made of Borouge HE3466-RT HDPE are less likely to bend during installation than pipes made of general PE-RT Type Ⅰ materials, reducing the possibility of pipeline leakage.
