HANHWA EVA 2518 Description

Hanwha 2518 Ethylene vinyl acetate resins, also known as"EVA material.", vinyl acetate (VA) content of 18%, with medium flexibility and high transparency. Commonly used in the production of highly elastic shoe soles, blended with other materials for the production of high-performance cable protectors.

EVA 2518 is produced by Hanwha Chemical’s subsidiary in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia using ExxonMobil’s high-pressure tubular process.

Hanwha EVA 2518 resin pellets, as shown in the figure on the left, are ellipsoidal, translucent granules with high elasticity.

Good flexibility and elasticity. Hanwha 2518 EVA material contains 18.2 % vinyl acetate, which gives it good tensile properties and flexibility. The elongation under the test environment of 23℃ reaches 800%, which can be used to produce highly elastic soles.
Good processing performance, Hanwha 2518 EVA material has a melt index of 2.5g/10min, suitable for foam molding processing. The wide processing conditions make it applicable to most machines.
