Alathon L4904LS is a high-density polyethylene resin (HDPE material) produced by LyondellBasell specifically for extrusion pipe manufacturing. It offers outstanding resistance to environmental stress cracking and is commonly used in the production of large-diameter pressure pipes, such as PE100 Pipe system, water supply pipelines, mining pipelines, and oil and gas pipelines.

- Pressure pipe HDPE material. LyondellBasell L4904LS HDPE material is specifically engineered for the manufacture of pressure pipelines, offering excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking. High-pressure pipeline systems produced from this material meet the requirements of the Plastic Piping Institute (PPI) PE 4710 and PPI TR-3 standards, making it suitable for manufacturing high-pressure-resistant pipelines.
- Drinking water-grade piping materials. Alathon L4904LS HDPE resin meets the requirements of NSF/ANSI 14 and NSF/ANSI 16 standards. Pipes manufactured from this resin are suitable for applications involving contact with drinking water, ensuring drinking water remains free from contamination.
- Excellent machinability. Lyodellbasell Alathon L4904LS high-density polyethylene material exhibits a melt flow index (MFI or MVR) of 0.15 g/10 min under a 190°C, 5 kg test environment. It is suitable for the vast majority of extrusion pipe production equipment, demonstrating strong machine adaptability.
