 ExxonMobil Nexxstar Low EVA-00111 EVA pellet Description 

Nexxstar Low EVA-00111 is  low vinyl acetate content ethylene vinyl acetate polymer resin pellet (EVA material) produced by ExxonMobil Chemical. It has a VA content of 7.5wt% and a melt index of 0.5g/10min (at 190℃ 2.16kg). It is specifically designed for the production of cold shrink film.

As shown in the figure on the left, ExxonMobil EVA 00111 consists of highly transparent ellipsoidal particles that feel similar to rubber and exhibit high damping and elasticity.

  • Good mechanical properties. As an EVA material specially used for the production of cold shrink film, Low EVA-00111 has a breaking elongation of 200% in the flow direction and 620% in the perpendicular direction. The yield tensile strength in the flow direction is 9.8MPa and the breaking tensile strength is 34MPa. It is suitable for the production of conventional stretch covers and cold shrink films.
  • Excellent processing and performance. As an EVA material for film production, ExxonMobil Low EVA-00111 has a melt index of 0.5g/10min at 190°C and 2.16kg, making it suitable for injection molding. The inclusion of slip agents and anti-blocking agents facilitates film packaging production while also enhancing customer experience.
  • Good high temperature resistance. Although the production of Stretch Sleeve Film does not require high temperature resistance like heat shrink film, the material still needs to have high temperature resistance to avoid deformation during hot canned packaging and high temperature environment. ExxonMobil Low EVA-00111 contains heat stabilizer ingredients, and the Vicat softening temperature reaches 80℃, which can avoid the occurrence of such deformation.
