Dow 722 coating grade low density polyethylene (LDPE) offers excellent printability, flexibility, and impact resistance. It is commonly used in flexible packaging and paperboard coating applications such as liquid/juice, laminate tube, condiment pouches, dry foods packaging, snack foods packaging, moist foods packaging, sugar pouches, lidding stock, and medical packaging.

Food grade and medical grade plastic materials. Dow 722 low density polyethylene (LDPE) material meets food contact requirements and has passed DMF, EU 10/2011 and FDA 21 safety certifications. This material can be used in food contact related applications and can also be used in medical related applications.
Good processing performance. The melt index of Dow 722 LDPE material is 8g/10min under the test environment of 190℃ and 2.16kg. It is suitable for various processing methods such as injection molding, extrusion molding and coating molding. The material has excellent processing performance and can be used for the insulation layer of flexible packaging.
Excellent coating application mechanical properties, the insulation layer made of Dow 722 LDPE material has a minimum thickness of close to 7.6μm and a water vapor transmission rate of only 0.67g·mm/㎡/atm/24hr. Its excellent mechanical properties make it widely used in water cup anti-seepage coating.
