Lupolen 2420D is a blow molding low density polyethylene resin pellet (LDPE material) produced by LyondellBasell. With a melt index of 0.25, it offers high melt strength, flexibility, and puncture resistance. It is commonly used in the production of thicker films requiring high strength, such as agricultural films, heavy-duty packaging films, and thick blown films.

Under 50μm blown film test conditions, its fall weight impact strength reaches 250g, the puncture resistance failure energy reached 6.5 J/mm in the 70μm blown film test environment—significantly exceeding comparable film-grade low-density polyethylene materials. This material is ideal for processing agricultural films and heavy-duty packaging films requiring high impact and puncture resistance.
• Excellent machinability. As an LDPE material developed by Basell specifically for blown film production, Lupolen 2420D LDPE exhibits a melt flow index (MFI) of 0.25 g/10 min at 190°C and 2.16 kg. It is compatible with the vast majority of blown film processing equipment.
