It offers excellent medical safety performance and is safe for use.
• Good processability. LyondellBasell PE1840H LDPE has a melt flow index (MFI or MVR) of 1.5 g/10 min under test conditions of 190°C and 2.16 kg, making it suitable for blow molding equipment, particularly for Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) processing technology, and for the production of blow-molded ampoules. Thanks to its consistent machining and performance characteristics, it has been in steady supply for over 30 years.
