Ascend Vydyne R530H PA66 Description
Vydyne R530H is a 30% glass-filled polyamide 66 (GF30 PA 66 material) polymer manufactured by Ascend Performance Materials. This material offers excellent thermal stability and hydrolytic resistance and is commonly used in automotive engine compartment components.
Ascend Vydyne R530H PA66 Advantage
- Heat stabilized, The Ascend R530H PA66 has undergone thermal stabilization treatment to minimize the oxidative degradation of polymers in high-temperature applications. Its heat deflection temperature reaches 260°C under a test pressure of 0.45 MPa, allowing it to withstand brief exposure to extreme environments exceeding 250°C without failure, making it particularly suitable for use in automotive engine cooling components.
- Good hydrolytic stability. Compared to conventional nylon 66, Ascend Vydyne R530H offers superior hydrolytic resistance. The material has been adopted by numerous automakers for engine compartment components and is an excellent choice for automotive radiator and heater parts.
- GF30 PA 66 material. Ascend R530H nylon contains 30% glass fiber, giving it superior rigidity, heat resistance, creep resistance, and dimensional stability. Under 2mm parallel test conditions, mold shrinkage is only 0.4%, with a tensile modulus of 9,400 MPa and a flexural modulus of 9,100 MPa. It is suitable for precision parts and automotive components requiring high strength.
