 BASF Ultramid A3X2G5 PA 66 pellet Description 

Ultramid A3X2G5 is a 25% glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66 resin pellet produced by BASF. Also known as"GF25 PA 66"or"GF nylon 66,"this material has excellent mechanical properties, strong rigidity, and good electrical insulation. It also contains a red phosphorus flame retardant, which provides good flame retardancy. A3X2G5 nylon 66 is often used in the production of electrical components.

⚠️Please note that BASF A3X2G5 PA 6,6 contains red phosphorus flame retardants. As shown in the image on the left, its natural color is an opaque dark red, which may result in significant color differences when used in light-colored products. Therefore, its use in light-colored or white applications is not recommended.

  • GF25 PA material, Ultramid A3X2G5 PA 66 material contains 25% glass fiber reinforcement, giving it higher rigidity, hardness and flame retardancy
  • Red phosphorus flame retardant system: Compared with conventional flame retardant ingredients, the red phosphorus flame retardant ingredient contained in Ultramid A3X2G5 PA 66 material has a better flame retardant effect and also meets environmental requirements. Without adding any additional flame retardants, the UL94 V-0 5VA flame retardant effect can be achieved at a test thickness of 3.0mm.
  • High heat resistant nylon material. Compared with conventional nylon materials, A3X2G5 PA 66 has stronger high-temperature resistance. The heat deformation temperature under the test pressure of 1.8MPa reaches 240℃. It can work in a high-temperature environment of 157℃ for more than 5000 hours. It is suitable for high-heat electrical parts such as relays and circuit breakers.
  • Excellent mechanical properties. Due to the reinforcement of glass fiber, Ultramid A3X2G5 nylon 66 material has a tensile modulus of up to 8000MPa and a flexural modulus of 7000MPa in the dry state. Its strong mechanical strength makes it widely used in high-performance engineering fields.
