 Chimei Wonderloy PC-540 PC/ABS Description 

Wonderloy PC-540 is PC alloy material produced by Chimei Corporation, is a blend of polycarbonate and Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (PC+ABS). It has high impact resistance, high temperature resistance, flame retardancy and UV resistance, is commonly used in electronic and electrical equipment, communication equipment, and automotive interior and exterior accessories.

Chimei Wonderloy PC-540 PC/ABS Advantage

  • Flame retardant plastic. Wondeloy PC-540 PC/ABS material offers excellent flame-retardant properties, achieving UL 94 V-0 at a thickness of 1.5 mm and 5VB at 2.5 mm. At the same time, it contains halogen-free orbrominated-free flame retardants, has minimal corrosive effects on electronic components, and offers excellent environmental performance.It is particularly well-suited for thin-walled applications requiring high-performance flame retardancy, such as outlet housings, power strips, and automotive interiors. 
  • Good impact resistance. Chimei PC-540 PC/ABS alloy combines the characteristics of both PC and ABS, delivering high impact resistance—with an Izod notched impact strength of 40 kJ/m² at 23°C; also offers high-temperature resistance and high strength, with Vicat softening temperature of 107°C and flexural modulus of 2.5 GPa, making it particularly suitable for use in small appliance housings.
