DIC.PPS FZ-1140-D5 is 40% glass fiber reinforced polyphenylene sulfide (GF40 PPS material) manufactured by DIC Corporation. Compared to DIC.PPS FZ-1140, it exhibits reduced flash, making it suitable for the production of connectors.

The DIC.PPS FZ-1140-D5 we supply is available in two standard colors: Natural Color (Blown) and Black (Opaque Black).

DIC.PPS FZ-1140-D5 GF40 PPS Advantage

GF40 PPS, DIC.PPS FZ-1140-D5 PPS is reinforced with 40% glass fiber, giving it superior rigidity, strength, dimensional stability, and high-temperature resistance compared to conventional polyphenylene sulfide materials. Its tensile modulus reaches 17 GPa and its flexural modulus 16.5 GPa, far exceeding those of standard PPS, making it suitable for applications requiring high load-bearing capacity.
UL 94 V-0 plastic. DIC.PPS FZ-1140-D5 GF40 PPS achieves UL 94 V-0 flame retardancy at a thickness of just 0.36 mm, making it suitable for thin walled products that require high-performance flame retardancy, such as connectors.
