Chimei Polylac PA-727 ABS Description

Polylac PA 727 is an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) resin manufactured by Chi Mei Corporation specifically for electroplating applications. It offers high impact resistance, a melt index of 19, and moderate flow rate, making it easy to process. It is suitable for the production of electroplated decorative parts, audio equipment panels, wheel covers, watch cases, and similar products.

Electroplated ABS, Chimei PA 727 is an ABS material specifically designed for electroplating applications. It produces smooth, defect-free plating layers that are resistant to peeling and offers excellent processing properties. In terms of performance, it is interchangeable with comparable grades such as Terluran GP 22, GP 35, and Sinopec 275 ABS.
Good impact resistance. Chimei PA 727 ABS resin has an Izod impact strength of 24 kJ/m² at 23°C and a Charpy impact strength of 25 kJ/m², which meets the impact resistance requirements for general decorative housings and non-electrical housings.
