 EVONIK Trogamid CX 7323 PA 12 Description 

Trogamid CX7323 is a transparent polyamide (PA material) manufactured by Evonik Operations GmbH Smart Materials High Performance Polymers. It offers excellent transparency and optical properties, as well as resistance to virtually all chemical solvents, UV radiation, high temperatures, hydrolysis, and abrasion. It is widely used in the automotive, aerospace, electronics, optical lenses, and sports equipment industries.

EVONIK Trogamid CX 7323 PA 12 Advantage

  • High transparency,Trogamid CX 7323, a new-generation transparent polymer material, incorporates alicyclic diamine (MACM) and aliphatic dicarboxylic acid (C12) during its production, resulting in a fully amorphous polymer. Its transparency exceeds that of polycarbonate (PC, with a typical light transmittance of 88%–90%) and approaches that of PMMA (light transmittance greater than 92%), refractive index of 1.516, making EVONIK CX7323 transparent PA12 suitable for applications requiring superior transparency and aesthetic properties.
  • UV resistance. Products made from Trogamid CX7232 PA12 material retain excellent mechanical properties even after prolonged exposure to sunlight outdoors, making them suitable for the production of outdoor sports equipment and sports eyewear.
  • Light weight. CX7323 transparent PA12 has a density of just 1.02 g/cm³, which is lower than the 1.2 of polycarbonate and the 1.15 of PMMA, making it suitable for eyewear and engineering components where weight reduction is required.
  • Materials suitable for contact with drinking water, food, and pharmaceuticals. Evonik CX7232 transparent nylon has met the certification requirements for water contact (KTW), water contact (DVGW W270), and US Pharmacopeia Class VI biocompatibility, and is suitable for applications involving contact with drinking water, food, and pharmaceuticals.
