Eastman Tritan TX1501HF PCTG pellet Description
Tritan TX1501HF is a food-grade PolyCyclohexylene Dimethylene Terephthalate Glycol resin pellet (PCTG material) produced by Eastman Chemical. It has excellent optical properties, high temperature resistance, and high impact resistance. Compared with Eastman Tritan TX1001 PCTG material, it has a lower viscosity and is easier to process, making it suitable for the manufacture of thin-walled and complex products.

Eastman Tritan TX1501HF PCTG pellet Advantage
- Food-grade plastic material. Eastman Tritan TX1501HF PCTG material complies with food contact standards and is certified by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. It has passed the FDA NSF/ANSI 51 Food Equipment Material Certification Standard and the NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 Drinking Water System Component Health Effects Certification Requirements and can be used in the production of food contact equipment and drinking water processing equipment.
- Excellent appearance properties. Tritan TX1501HF PCTG material has a transmittance of 91% and a haze of only 1%. It can be used to replace high-transparency glass materials and is suitable for applications such as drinking water bottles that require high product transparency.
- More convenient processing, compared with the basic Tritan TX1001 PCTG material, the viscosity of TX1501HF is reduced by 40~50%. The lower viscosity property makes it easier to process and is suitable for the production of thin-walled and complex products.
- Excellent high temperature resistance. Compared with other brands of PCTG materials, the Tritan PCTG material series produced by Eastman Chemical has better high temperature resistance. The heat deformation temperature reaches 94℃ under the test environment of 0.45MPa. It can still maintain excellent performance and does not release harmful substances when holding high-temperature drinking water. Tritan TX1501HF PCTG material is very suitable for the production of high-temperature drinking water bottles.
