 INEOS Terluran HI-10 ABS Description 

Terluran HI-10 is acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin pellet (ABS material) produced by INEOS Styrolution Group GmbH. It offers good flexibility and excellent impact resistance, and its moderate flow rate makes it suitable for injection molding and extrusion processes.

INEOS Terluran HI-10 ABS pellets Advantage 

  • Extremely impact-resistant. INEOS HI-10 ABS Contains impact modifiers, achieves a Charpy notched impact strength of 36 kJ/m² at 23°C, which is significantly higher than the 22 kJ/m² of the commonly used INEOS GP22 ABS. Even at the extreme low temperature of -30°C, it maintains a strength of 13 kJ/m².

As shown in the comparison of INEOS Terluran Standard ABS material properties on the left, Terluran HI-10 ABS is positioned as a material with ultra high impactresistance.

The HI-10 ABS material exhibits good flexibility, with a tensile strain at yield of 2.8%. Its impact resistance significantly exceeds that of commonly used GP-22 and GP-35 ABS materials, making it more suitable for the production of children’s toys, motorcycle Helmets and small appliance housings, which require high impact resistance.

⚠️The Terluran HI 10 ABS supplied by our company is manufactured by the INEOS Styrolution and Sinopec Ningbo plant. It is milky white in color (not pure white) and comes in ellipsoidal pellets (not cylindrical). The pellet size is slightly smaller than that of the GP 22 and GP 35 grades produced at the same plant. If you require materials in other colors or from other origins, please contact us.
