Sabic Lexan 3412R PC Description
Lexan 3412R is a 20% glass fiber-reinforced polycarbonate (GF20 PC material) manufactured at the Sabic Innovation (Nansha) plant, which meets UL 94 V-0 and 5VA flame-retardant standards.

Lexan 3412R FC PC resin we supply comes from the Sabic Innovation (China) Plastics Nansha plant. Standard colors include two options: Lexan 3412R-131—natural; and Lexan 3412R-739—opaque high-gloss black.
As shown in the figure on the left, Lexan 3412R-131 natural is a translucent, nearly white cylindrical pellet; due to its glass fiber content, its surface is not smooth.

Sabic Lexan 3412R PC Advantage
- GF20 reinforced PC, Lexan 3412R PC contains 20% glass fiber, giving it superior rigidity, heat resistance, and dimensional stability compared to standard polycarbonate materials. Its tensile modulus reaches 6,000 MPa, its flexural modulus is 5,500 MPa, its Vicat softening point can reach 145 °C, and its heat deflection temperature (HDT) at a pressure of 0.45 MPa reaches 144 °C,making it suitable for applications requiring high rigidity and heat resistance.
- Flame retardant PC material. Lexan 3412R uses a high performance halogen flame retardant that achieves UL 94 V-0 flame retardancy at a thickness of just 1.5 mm, making it suitable for thin-walled products with stringent flame retardancy requirements.
