 Sabic Lexan 123R-111 PC Description 

Lexan 123R is general-purpose polycarbonate pellet (PC material) produced by Sabic innovation (China) plastic company. It offers good transmittance, excellent high-temperature resistance and dimensional stability, and is suitable for injection molding, contains a release agent and UV protection, making it suitable for use in outdoor applications.

As shown in the image on the left, it is a clear polycarbonate resin in the form of cylindrical pellets. Sabic Lexan 123R-111 PC Advantage

  • UV resistant PC, Compared to the Lexan 121R PC resin in the same series, the main difference with Sabic 123R is that it contains UV-resistant additives, meets the UL 746C F1 outdoor rating (highest level) for the UL Yellow Card, making products manufactured from it suitable for long-term outdoor exposure or for use as housings in small household appliances.
  • Good processing performance. Sabic 123R PC has a melt volume rate (MVR) of 21cm³/10min at 300℃ and 1.2kg . Good fluidity makes it suitable for injection molding of thin-walled products. It also contains a release agent to reduce the residual resin material in the mold and facilitate product manufacturing.
