Application
Makrolon ET 3137 is a polycarbonate material with a highly branched polymer structure produced by Covestro AG. It has high viscosity and a melt index of 7g/10min (300℃ 1.2kg), suitable for injection molding and extrusion molding, contains UV stabilizers and can be used to produce products for long-term outdoor use such as corrugated sheets, roof profiles, and greenhouse panels. It also contains a release agent and is easy to process.

- Branched polycarbonate material. Makrolon ET3137 uses a branched polymer structure processing method, which makes the material have higher melt strength, which is convenient for large and complex profiles, especially in multi-wall applications with high requirements for uniform wall thickness.
- UV-resistant polycarbonate material. Makrolon ET3137 PC material contains UV-resistant ingredients, and the products made of it can be used outdoors for a long time, such as transparent greenhouse panels, windows, etc.
- Better low-temperature impact resistance. Branched polymers have better low-temperature impact resistance. The cantilever beam notch impact of ET 3137 PC material under -30℃ test environment can reach 16kJ/㎡, which is higher than conventional polycarbonate materials and is suitable for low-temperature environment applications.
- Good processing performance. The branched polycarbonate Makrolon ET 3137 has a melt index of 7g/10min at 300℃ and 1.2kg test environment. It has a high viscosity melt and has higher tensile strength than conventional polycarbonate materials. The tensile strength reaches 100MPa at 2.0mm/min test environment, which facilitates the stretching manufacturing of large and complex profiles.
