Envalior Akulon K224-HG6 PA 6 Description
Akulon K224-HG6 is 30% glass fiber filled polyamide 6 resin (GF PA 6 / GF Nylon 6) produced by Envalior Engineering Plastics. It possesses excellent high-temperature resistance and has been certified for use in nylon applications by several automakers.

As shown in the figure on the left, Akulon K224 HG6 PA 6 NA99001 in natural color consists of granules that are roughly pillow-shaped with a greenish tint; due to the 30% glass fiber content, the surface is not smooth.

At a test temperature of 200°C, it achieves a tensile modulus of 200 MPa and a stress at break of 47 MPa, making it particularly suitable for heat-generating and high-temperature applications such as automotive engines and air conditioning equipment.
