Sabic Lexan 223R-111 PC Description
Lexan 223R-111 is a general-purpose, transparent polycarbonate (FR PC) material containing halogen-free flame retardants, manufactured by Sabic Innovation Plastics (China). It achieves a UL 94 V-2 flame-retardant rating at a test thickness of 0.75 mm and is commonly used in applications such as small appliance housings, transparent covers for electrical appliances, and electrical outlets.
⚠️Sabic 223R is available in a variety of colors. Lexan 223R-111 is clear and colorless, while Lexan 223R-701 is opaque black. Please contact us if you need other colors.

- Flame retardant PC, The main difference between Sabic Lexan 223R PC resin and Lexan 123R from the same series is that it contains flame retardants, enabling it to achieve a UL 94 V-2 rating at a test thickness of 0.75 mm and a V-0 rating at a thickness of 6 mm. It is suitable for use in appliance housings, outlet covers, and transparent components for small appliances that require basic flame retardancy.
- Balanced mechanical properties. Lexan 223R FR PC has mechanical properties similar to those of Lexan 123R from the same series.

- Good machinability. Sabic 223R-111 clear PC has a melt volume rate (MVR) of 21 cm³/10 min under test conditions of 300°C and 1.2 kg, indicating moderate flow. It is suitable for conventional injection molding equipment. Additionally, this material contains a release agent, facilitating large-scale production.
