Application
Makrolon AL2447 is an injection molding polycarbonate material produced by Covestro. It is highly transparent, contains UV stabilizers, has a melt index (300℃/1.2kg) of 19cm³/10min, low viscosity, is easy to remove from the mold, and has good processing performance.AL 2447 PC material can be used to produce transparent lampshades for automobiles.

- Anti-ultraviolet plastic raw materials. Makrolon AL2447 PC material contains anti-ultraviolet ingredients. The finished products can still maintain good appearance and mechanical properties after long-term outdoor use. It is suitable for the production of outdoor products such as car lampshades.
- Good processing performance, Makrolon AL2447 polycarbonate material has a suitable melt index, 300 ℃ 1.2kg test standard, the melt index is 20g/min, suitable for injection molding processing, convenient for the manufacture of complex and precision parts, while Makrolon AL2447 PC also has a release agent component, reducing the material residue on the mold, convenient for large-scale production
- Better optical properties. Compared with the same grade polycarbonate materials, Makrolon AL2447 has higher transparency. The transparency of the test under ISO 13468 test standard of 1000μm thickness reaches 89%, and the haze is less than or equal to 0.5%. In the application of automobile lampshade, it is convenient to use automobile lights and has very good aesthetics.
