 Sabic Lexan 925AU PC Description 

Lexan 925AU is a flame-retardant polycarbonate (FR PC) material produced by Sabic Innovation Plastics (Nansha). It meets the UL 94 V-0 flame-retardant rating and contains UV-resistant additives, making it suitable for the manufacture of outdoor products and home appliance housings.
⚠️The Lexan 925AU we supply comes from the Sabic Innovation Plastics (Nansha) plant and is available in two standard colors: Lexan 925AU-116, a transparent PC with a blue tint; and Lexan 925AU-701, a standard opaque black. Sabic Lexan 925AU PC Advantage

  • FR PC material, Sabic Lexan 925AU FR PC contains flame retardants that enable it to achieve a UL 94 V-0 flame-retardant rating at a thickness of 3 mm. It is halogen-free—containing neither chlorine nor bromine—and has minimal corrosive effects on electronic components, making it suitable for thick-walled electronic device enclosures that require flame retardancy.
  • UV resistance. Compared to the Lexan 925 and Lexan 925A PC resins in the same series, the main difference with Lexan 925AU is that it contains UV-resistant additives, complies with the UL 746C F1 certification requirements for UV light and water exposure/immersion. It can be used to manufacture enclosures for long-term outdoor use and electronic devices, preventing yellowing and performance degradation in PC products caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight, thereby effectively extending the product’s service life.
