 Sabic Lexan LS1 PC pellet Description 

Lexan LS1 is a UV-resistant polycarbonate resin pellet (PC material) manufactured by SABIC. It offers excellent impact resistance, dimensional stability, and clarity. The material has passed UL94 HB flame retardancy testing and meets relevant automotive industry certifications. It is suitable for producing automotive lamp covers and optical lenses.

  • High impact resistance. Sabic Lexan LS1 PC material achieves an impact strength of 65 kJ/m² in the notched Charpy test at 23°C. Even in extreme low-temperature conditions of -30°C, where performance degrades significantly, it still delivers 11 kJ/m². This material is suitable for automotive lamp housings requiring high impact resistance.
