Sabic PC0703R PC Description
PC0703R is a UV-resistant polycarbonate (PC) material manufactured by Saudi Basic Industries Corporation. It offers thermal stability and contains a release agent. It has a melt flow rate (MFR) of 7 g/10 min at 300°C under a load of 1.2 kg, indicating low flowability, making it suitable for the production of sunshade panels, multilayer panels, and honeycomb panels.

- UV resistance PC, Compared to conventional polycarbonate materials, Sabic PC0703R offers superior UV resistance, ensuring that products made from it retain their mechanical properties even after prolonged outdoor use.
- PC material for sheet applications. Sabic PC0703R has a melt flow rate of 7 g/10 min under the 300°C, 1.2 kg test standard. Its lower flow rate is suitable for extrusion molding processes, and the extruded sheets are relatively stable and resistant to deformation.
- Balanced mechanical properties. Sabic PC0703R polycarbonate offers excellent strength, impact resistance, and heat resistance, with a tensile modulus of 2350 MPa, an Izod notched impact strength of 900 J/m at 23°C, and a deflection temperature under 0.45 MPa of 138°C.[1] It is suitable for the production of sunshade panels that require high impact resistance and heat resistance.
