Sabic Lexan 121R-111 PC Description
Lexan 121R is a multi-purpose polycarbonate (PC) material manufactured by Saudi Basic Industries Corporation. It has an MVR of 21, features low viscosity and high flowability, and contains a release agent to ensure easy processing.

Sabic Lexan 121R-111 PC Advantage
- High liquidity PC, Sabic Lexan 121R has a melt volume flow rate (MVR) of 21 cm³/10 min at 300°C 2.16 kg[1], which represents a moderately high flow rate. It is suitable for the production of thin-walled and complex products. Additionally, the material contains a release agent, facilitating smooth demolding of the products.
- Balanced mechanical properties. Sabic 121R PC has a tensile modulus of 2350 MPa and a Charpy notched impact strength of 35 kJ/m² at 23°C, offering high strength and impact resistance; The heat deflection temperature at 0.45 MPa reaches 133°C, demonstrating excellent heat resistance. Sabic 121R PC material offers balanced mechanical properties, making it suitable for use in many applications.
- Good optical. Sabic 121R transparent PC has a transmittance of 88–90% at a test thickness of 2540 μm and a haze of only 0.8%. With its excellent visual properties, it is ideal for applications requiring high transparency.
