• UV resistant PCmaterial, Products manufactured from SABIC PC1003R polycarbonate material maintain excellent mechanical properties even after prolonged outdoor use. PC1003R PC resins are suitable for automotive lamp housings, streetlight covers, outdoor toys, and transparent enclosures for household appliances.
• High temperature resistant plastic materials. Sabic PC1003R maintains excellent performance in high-temperature environments. Under a 3.2mm 0.45MPa test condition, its heat deflection temperature reaches 138°C. According to the ASTM D1525 test standard, its Vicat softening temperature achieves 143°C. It is suitable for applications requiring high heat dissipation, such as lampshades and appliance housings.
• Excellent machinability. Sabic PC1003R polycarbonate material exhibits a melt index of 10g/10min at 300°C under a 1.2kg test environment, featuring a medium-viscosity melt suitable for injection molding processes. It can be processed on standard equipment and incorporates a release agent to prevent material residue in molds.
